Thái Lan đang tìm cách thu hút khách Việt bằng việc giới thiệu những điểm du lịch mới sau khi lượng du khách từ Việt Nam giảm trong năm qua do tác động của các xung đột chính trị tại nước này.
Theo Tổng cục Du lịch Thái Lan (TAT) tại TPHCM, trong 11 tháng đầu năm 2014, lượng khách Việt Nam đến Thái Lan là gần 518.000 người, giảm hơn 23% so với cùng kỳ năm 2013.
Một trong những nguyên nhân là do tình hình bất ổn chính trị ở Thái Lan hồi đầu năm khiến du khách Việt Nam e ngại.
Do vậy, ngành du lịch Thái Lan làm mới mình bằng cách giới thiệu các điểm đến mới cùng các chính sách hỗ trợ cho các công ty du lịch Việt Nam đưa khách sang nước này.
