Thiết kế chiếu sáng cần đảm bảo an toàn, an ninh, hạn chế sử dụng đèn trang trí tại các khu vực này.
Cây xanh trong các khu có tính chất trang trọng (đền, nơi tổ chức các hoạt động thăm viếng, thờ cúng): bên cạnh các cây tự nhiên có giá trị, khu vườn hoa chọn cây trang trí phải có giá trị trang trí cao (hình thái, màu sắc, khả năng cắt xén), như các loại cây trang trí quý đặc biệt: vạn tuế, bánh hỏi, trúc phật bà, trà mi, đỗ quyên, huyết dụ, cau bụi, cau lùn, cau ta, trúc đào…cây được bố trí theo hàng, ngay ngắn tạo sự tôn nghiêm, trang trọng cho khu vực (Hình 22).
