Đại học Akamai là đại học quốc tế có trụ sở đặt tại Hoa Kỳ. Do định hướng quốc tế, Đại học Akamai tiến hành kiểm định cấp độ cao nhất (Primier University) với tổ chức kiểm định Anh Quốc ASIC. ASIC được CHEA công nhận và là thành viên của UK Border Agency (UKBA) thuộc British Quality Foundation (BQF), bằng cấp được công nhận toàn cầu. ASIC cũng là thành viên của CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG).
