Chùa Long Sơn hiện nay là một trong những địa điểm du lịch nổi tiếng nhất tại Nha Trang thu hút rất nhiều khách trong nước và quốc tế đến đây tham quan và cúng bái, chùa rất yên tỉnh và thể hiện được sự tâm linh, đến tôi thấy trong người có cảm giác yên bình và thanh tịnh. Chùa được dựng trên một khu đất cao, thoáng mát, cây cối xanh tươi, nằm bên cạnh đường giao thông và phố xá đông đúc mà giữ được vẻ thâm u, tĩnh mịch. Những dãy nhà làm học viện, văn phòng, tịnh thất hợp với ngôi chùa đồ sộ, tạo thành một cấu trúc hoàn chỉnh ẩn bóng dưới những hàng cây Bồ đề cao lớn, cành lá sum suê cùng những rạng cây kiểng bao quanh toả che bóng mát.Từ chùa chính, muốn lên pho tượng Kim Thân Phật Tổ phải đi lên 193 bậc tam cấp. Khi đến bậc thứ 44 ta sẽ thấy tượng Phật Tổ nhập Niết Bàn dài 17 m, cao 5m. Tiếp tục hành trình ta viếng thăm tượng Kim Thân Phật Tổ đang ngồi thuyết pháp ngự trên đỉnh đồi.tượng cao 24 mét,rất dễ nhìn tại một khu vực rộng xung quanh chùa. từ nơi này nhìn xuống thấy cảnh vật xung quanh, có thể chiêm ngưỡng thành phố Nha Trang xinh đẹp hiền hòa bên dưới, mang đến cảm giác an nhiên trong tận tâm hồn. chùa Long Sơn khác với chùa Thiên Mụ ở Huế mà tôi đã tham quan.Chùa Thiên Mụ không có nhiều tượng Phật,điểm nổi bật của chùa là tháp Phước Duyên, cao 21m gồm 7 tầng. Nhìn tổng quan, khuôn viên chùa như một dinh thự của các bậc vua chúa xứ Huế ngày xưa. Đến với Nha Trang mà không ghé thăm chùa long sơn với tượng phật ngoài trời lớn nhất Việt Nam thì đó là một thiếu Sót.
