- Nhà thầu thiết kế chịu hoàn toàn trách nhiệm trước chủ đầu tư và pháp luật về chất lượng thiết kế, kết quả thẩm tra và phải bồi thường thiệt hại, khu sử dụng thông tin, tài liệu, quy chuẩn, tiêu chuẩn xây dựng, giải pháp kỹ thuật, công nghệ không phù hợp gây ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng công trình xây dựng và các hành vi vi phạm khác gây thiệt hại (Điều 16 khoản 5 của Nghị định 209/2004/NĐ-CP ngày 16/12/2004 của Chính phủ).
- Tôn trọng các quyền lợi hợp pháp của những người có liên quan và chịu trách nhiệm trước pháp luật nếu xảy ra tranh chấp, khiếu nại.
- Sau khi dự án đầu tư xây dựng công trình đã được phê duyệt, chủ đầu tư được phép dọn dẹp mặt bằng để chuẩn bị xây dựng công trình mới và thực hiện các quy định về tháo dỡ công trinh theo Thông tư 12/2005/TT-BXD ngày 15/07/2005 của Bộ Xây dựng và Quyết định số 52/2005/QĐ-UB ngày 30/03/2005 của Ủy ban nhân dân TPHCM.
