Thuê tầu chuyến (Voyage) là chủ tầu (Ship-owner) cho người thuê tầu (Charterer) thuê toàn bộ hay một phần chiếc tầu để chuyên chở hàng hóa từ cảng này đến cảng khác. Trong phương thức thuê tầu chuyến, mối quan hệ giữa người thuê tầu (chủ hàng) với người cho thuê tầu (chủ tầu) được điều chỉnh bằng một văn bản gọi là hợp đồng thuê tầu chuyến (Voyage charter party) viết tắt là C/P.
