Như vậy, sau khi sát nhập 02 Xí nghiệp, với tên gọi: Xí nghiệp Cảng và Dịch vụ dầu khí Vietsovpetro, chúng ta đã có một Bộ máy tinh, gọn, nhanh, nhạy, việc sát nhập một số Phòng Ban, cắt giảm biên chế một số lượng CBCNV đã đến tuổi nghỉ hưu, tăng thêm nguồn nhân lực HĐLĐTV vừa khỏe, trẻ cho các Bộ phận khi cần thiết. Việc sát nhập 02 Xí nghiệp vào làm một đã giảm một số thủ tục hành chính rườm rà kèm theo là tiết giảm chi phí quản lý doanh nghiệp, tăng khả năng cạnh tranh trong công tác dịch vụ.
