Tỷ suất sinh lời trên tổng tài sản của FPT khá cao so với HiPT nhưng giảm dần đều trong các năm qua. Năm 2013 cứ 100 đồng đầu tư vào tổng tài sản đã mang lại cho công ty 11.8 đồng lợi nhuận sau thuế, đến năm 2014 con số này giảm xuống 10.6 đồng và năm 2015 là 9.4 đồng . Mặt khác, HIPT có hệ số ROA tăng mạnh từ 0.24% năm 2013 lên 0.90% năm 2014, đặc biệt sang năm 2015 do lợi nhuận sau thuế tăng dẫn đến ROA năm này tăng lên mức 2.51%.
