Microsoft recently announced it will open two data centers in Germany, with the main aim is to avoid the requirement to monitor and provide information of the US government. The two centers will be operated by T-Systems, a subsidiary of the Deutsche Telekom network. Both companies will jointly contribute capital to the headquarters building, and T-Systems will be the owner of the building. Microsoft said the firm's employees will not be allowed to access the data here if T-Systems is not allowed.
