Tuy nhiên, mọi người đã không trao được quà vì 8 anh em TNLT đang tuyệt thực đến ngày thứ 3 để yêu cầu trại giam thực hiện đúng theo nội quy của tổng cục 8 cho mang sách vở, giấy viết vào học tập theo điều 15.

Trại giam không cho mua căn tin, không cung cấp nước, buồng giam chật hẹp không cho tắm nắng... Hầu như các trại giam đều không thực hiện đúng như nội quy mà họ đã quy định, những tù nhân lương tâm đều bị trại giam đối xử vô lối theo lệnh của cấp trên. Hầu hết các trại giam tại VN đều có chính sách khủng bố tinh thần thể xác các tù nhân lương tâm đến cùng! Đây là phương cách đảng cộng sản VN thực hiện cho việc cai trị lâu dài toàn dân tộc. Ai muốn lên tiếng đấu tranh cho dân chủ nhân quyền cũng đều bị csVN bức hại với nhiều hình thức khác nhau và khi bị bắt bỏ tù rồi thì csVN cũng tìm đủ cách để hành hạ nhằm làm nhục ý chí đấu tranh.

Nhưng csVN đã lầm khi càng thực hiện các biện pháp hành hạ, đánh đập, tra tấn tinh thần một cách đê hèn thì người dân càng thấy rõ bản chất tàn bạo của nhà cầm quyền độc tài! Còn những người đấu tranh sau khi ra tù lại càng hưng phấn gấp trăm lần khi chưa bị bắt, bởi nhà tù là một thao trường rất quý giá! Nhà tù cũng là nơi để nhận diện rõ hơn bản chất của bọn tà quyền csVN.
