An Giang là tỉnh có diện tích thực hiện mô hình CĐML lớn nhất ĐBSCL (Bảng 3). Từ vụ Hè
Thu năm 2011, tổng diện tích tham gia mô hình CĐML tỉnh An Giang là 3.857 ha, chiếm
56% tổng diện tích CĐML khu vực ĐBSCL. Đến vụ Đông Xuân 2011-2012, diện tích CĐML
tăng lên 5.500 ha, chiếm 30,4% diện tích khu vực ĐBSCL. Tổng diện tích thực hiện mô hình
CĐML tỉnh An Giang năm 2012 là 22.900 ha, tăng gấp 4 lần so với năm 2012, áp dụng trên
cả 3 vụ lúa trong năm. Năm 2013, trên địa bàn tỉnh An Giang đã có 09 công ty hợp tác với
ND thực hiện mô hình CĐML là Cty CP BVTV An Giang, Cty XNK Angimex, Công ty
TNHH Angimex - Kitoku, Công ty Lương Thực - Thực phẩm An Giang, Công ty XNK Thịnh
Phú, Công ty CP SX-TM-DV Ngọc Tùng,... với diện tích dự kiến khoảng 40.000 ha8, thực
hiện liên kết với ND trên địa bàn các huyện Thoại Sơn, Châu Thành, Châu Phú, Tri Tôn và
Tịnh Biên. Các công ty tham gia chủ yếu là các DN cung ứng giống, phân bón, thuốc BVTV
và các công ty thương mại đầu tư xây dựng cụm kho sấy, xay xát gắn với chiến lược xây dựng
thương hiệu sản phẩm.
