Chủ trì cuộc họp báo giới thiệu về hội thảo, sáng 11/9, giáo sư-tiến sỹ Tạ Ngọc Tấn, Giám đốc Học viện Chính trị Quốc gia Hồ Chí Minh nêu rõ trong chiến lược phát triển đất nước, Liên bang Nga đã ưu tiên duy trì và tăng cường liên kết khu vực đồng thời, hướng tới chính sách đối ngoại linh hoạt, đa phương hóa quan hệ trên tất cả các lĩnh vực với các đối tác khác nhau, đặc biệt ưu tiên Việt Nam - đối tác truyền thống và các nước ASEAN - một trong các khu vực đang có sự phát triển năng động hiện nay.
