Ở Việt nam vào mùa hè có một tổ chức tình nguyện gọi là mùa hè xanh .Các bạn tình nguyện viên từ khắp nơi trên đất nước sẽ về những vùng quê để giúp đỡ người dân như là dạy học, sửa nhà cho dân ,làm đường giao thông, tuyên truyền pháp luật, lối sống văn hóa .Hay là chiến dịch tình nguyện tiếp sức mùa thi vào kì thi đại học cao đẳng, chiến dịch chung tay hổ trợ phòng trọ, chỗ ở miễn phí, động viên,, hướng dẫn các thủ tục cũng như truyền đạt những kinh nghiệm cần thiết cho các bạn
