Trách nhiệm đối với vấn đề bảo vệ môi trường của Honda Việt Nam được ý thức rất cao trong chiến dịch Ngày hội trồng cây “Cùng Honda giữ mãi màu xanh Việt Nam” diễn ra vào sáng ngày 20/4/2008 tại huyện Cao Phong, tỉnh Hoà Bình. Chiến dịch do Honda Việt Nam phối hợp cùng Trường ĐH Lâm Nghiệp và UBND huyện Cao Phong tổ chức theo cơ chế phát triển sạch AR- CDM lần đầu tiên ở Việt Nam và Honda Việt Nam sẽ tài trợ trong vòng 4 năm từ năm 2008 đến 2011. Chiến dịch Ngày hội trồng cây đã thu hút sự tham gia của 607 nhân viên Honda, 160 giảng viên và sinh viên Trường ĐH Lâm Nghiệp cùng 30 cán bộ của Cục cảnh sát Môi trường và đông đảo người dân địa phương. Họ đã không quản ngại đường xá xa xôi, địa hình hiểm trở để tích cực tham gia hoạt động trồng cây đầy ý nghĩa này. Đối với nhân viên Công ty Honda Việt Nam, đây không chỉ là cơ hội để họ được trực tiếp cống hiến sức mình trong công cuộc bảo vệ môi trường chung của toàn xã hội mà còn là dịp tốt để các bạn tìm hiểu thêm những kiến thức về môi trường. Tổng diện tích rừng trồng được trong lần này là 5 ha với các loại cây trồng là keo tai tượng và keo lá chàm.
