Bậc giáo dục trung học của Hà Lan c

Bậc giáo dục trung học của Hà Lan có 3 mức khác nhau bao gồm hệ 4 năm, 5 năm và 6 năm. Với hệ giáo dục 4 năm và 5 năm, sau khi kết thúc bậc học các em sẽ tiếp tục học tại trường đào tạo kỹ thuật và đào tạo chuyên ngành.

 Hệ giáo dục 6 năm giúp các em định hướng được các chương trình cũng như phương thức học tập tại giáo dục bậc đại học và cao học. Nhưng dù các em có lựa chọn bậc học nào thì các em cũng phải học các môn giống nhau như: tiếng Hà Lan, tiếng Anh, tiếng Pháp, Đức, Toán cơ bản, Toán học ứng dụng, Kinh tế, Kinh tế doanh nghiệp, Địa lý, lịch sử, Lý, Hoá, Sinh…

Trong đó có một số môn học về ngôn ngữ là không bắt buộc, các em có thể hoàn toàn tự nguyện chọn môn học sao cho phù hợp với khả năng, nguyện vọng và sở thích của mình. Học sinh học ở đây được nghỉ 2 buổi một tuần, thi tốt nghiệp từ 7-8 môn. Sinh viên có thể định hướng học tiếp tục học tại trường kỹ thuật, chuyên ngành hoặc đại học.
