Nghiên cứu về sức khỏe tâm thần của phụ nữ và trẻ em của tổ chức RTCCD ( 2008) chỉ ra một số dạng rối loạn tâm thần thường gặp ở phụ nữ và trẻ em tại một số địa bàn ở Hà Nội, những yếu tố như phát triển kinh tế xã hội cũng như môi trường có tác động tới tình trạng rối nhiễu/rối loạn tâm thần ở phụ nữ và trẻ em.
Nghiên cứu của bác sỹ Đặng Như Cương (2010) đã chỉ ra những dạng rối loạn khá điển hình như trầm cảm, lo âu, tâm thần phân liệt, rối loạn do nghiện ma túy... như những rối loạn tâm thần tiêu biểu trong cộng đồng dân cư của Việt Nam thời điểm đó.
Nghiên cứu về Một số giải pháp nhằm hạn chế bạo lực gia đình đối với phụ nữ và trẻ em của tác giả Bùi Thị Xuân Mai (2010) đã chỉ ra thực trạng và các nguyên nhân tác động tiêu cực tới tâm thần của phụ nữ và trẻ em. Trên cơ sở đó tác giả đã đề xuất một số giải pháp nhằm phòng chống bạo lực gia đình đối với phụ nữ và trẻ em ở Việt Nam.

Research on the mental health of women and children of PERSPECTIVES held (2008) indicates some form of common mental disorders in women and children in some areas in Hanoi, the factors such as economic and social development as well as the environment that affect the status of neurological disturbances, mental disorders in women and children.Research by Dr. Deng As Diamonds (2010) has pointed out the fairly typical disorders such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders due to drug addiction ... as these typical mental disorders in the general population of Vietnam at that time.Study on several solutions aimed at limiting family violence against women and children of author Bui Thi Xuan Mai (2010) has pointed out the reality and causes a negative effect to women's mental and children. On the basis of which the author has proposed a number of solutions to family violence prevention for women and children in Vietnam.
