Bên trong công trình bị ô nhiễm bởi các nguồn nhiệt trong quá trình đun nấu, sử dụng các thiết bị điện: ti vi, máy vi tính, bàn ủi, đèn điện… ; khí CO2 trong quá trình hô hấp của con người và độ ẩm từ nhà vệ sinh là môi trường thuận lợi cho vi khuẩn phát triển.
