Claude Bernard University is France’s fifth University and is situated in four main cities of the Rhone-Alps region. Around 40,000 students attend this University that focuses on Science and Technology, Sport and Health, of which about 10 percent are international students. Undergraduate Geosciences courses are taught in English and graduate programs offered in English include Chemistry, Neurosciences, Nanotechnology and Earth Sciences, along with ten international masters degree programs. The University is very active in research and technology projects for which it has attracted international acclaim, and is well known for its vocational programs.
