Từ nửa sau thế kỉ XVI trở đi, các hoạt động kiến trúc của Italia lúc bấy giờ chuyển về Venise, một thành phố thương nghiệp sầm uất, một “nhà bảo tàng lớn” của nghệ thuật Phục hưng Italia hậu kì.

+ Các công trình tuân theo một nhịp điệu đối xứng nghiêm ngặt.
