2.3.2. Hoạt động mua sắm, thu mua
Hoạt động mua sắm trang thiết bị cũng như thu mua nguyên vật liệu cho quá trình sản xuất do bộ phận cung ứng/quản lý mua hàng của công ty đảm nhiệm. Đầu tiên là tiếp nhận/ xác định thông tin nhu cầu thiết bị, nguyên vật liệu từ bộ phận trực tiếp sản xuất. Tiếp theo là tìm kiếm, nghiên cứu, phân tích, so sánh các nhà cung ứng trên thị trường rồi từ đó lựa chọn các nguồn cung ứng nguyên vật liệu, thiết bị phù hợp yêu cầu của người trực tiếp sử dụng cũng như khả năng tài chính của công ty. Khi đã lựa chọn được nhà cung ứng phù hợp sẽ tiến hành mua sắm thiết bị và thu mua các nguyên vật liệu cho quá trình sản xuất.
