Đến ngày 30/6/2016, Ủy ban Dân tộc đã ban hành văn bản số 65/UBDT-CSDT đôn đốc các Bộ ngành, địa phương triển khai QĐ 1557/QĐ-TTg của TTCP; Tiếp theo, Ủy ban Dân tộc cũng đã dự thảo, tham vấn hoàn thiện và phê duyệt Quyết định số 200/QĐ-UBDT ngày 5/5/2016 ban hành Kế hoạch hành động của Ủy ban Dân tộc thực hiện Quyết định số 1557 của Thủ tướng Chính phủ. Bộ Y tế đã hoàn thành ra quyết định số 601/KH-BYT ngày 27/6/2016 ban hành Kế hoạch thực hiện Quyết định số 1557 của Bộ Y tế. Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo và 3 tỉnh Cao Bằng, Kon Tum, Trà Vinh hiện đang trong quá trình phê chuẩn dự thảo Quyết định triển khai QĐ 1557 của các cơ quan và địa phương này. Dự kiến các Quyết định liên quan sẽ được phê duyệt ban hành trong tháng 7/2016.
