Lựa chọn khóa học – ngành học – bậc học:
Đối với sinh viên học cử nhân:

Sinh viên muốn vào học sẽ nộp đơn trực tiếp cho trường Đại học Princeton, không phải nộp đơn cho các ban, các chương trình hay khoa riêng lẻ nào. Sau khi được nhận, sinh viên có thể chọn học một trong hai chương trình Cử nhân Nghệ thuật (AB) hoặc Cử nhân Khoa học kỹ thuật (BSE). Trong các chương trình đại học, sinh viên có thể lựa chọn trong số 34 ban (Ban khoa học máy tính có cả chương trình AB và BSE) và 50 chương trình chứng chỉ liên ngành.

Đối với sinh viên cao học:

Các chương trình cao học được tổ chức bởi 42 ban và chương trình khác nhau, trực tiếp xét tuyển sinh viên, cũng như một số chương trình cấp bằng liên ngành và liên kết mà sinh viên có thể lựa chọn sau khi đã đăng ký. Cơ sở vật chất:
Đại học Princeton đưa ra rất nhiều các dịch vụ dành cho sinh viên, bao gồm các khóa dạy kèm, Hội phụ nữ, dịch vụ y tế và bảo hiểm y tế.
