Multinational companies structure [page | edit source code]Multinational companies can be classified into three major groups according to the structure of the means of production:Multinational companies "horizontally" produce the same or similar products in different countries (for example, McDonalds).Multinational companies "vertically" to have the production facilities in some countries, the production product is the input for the production of it in some other countries (for example, Adidas).Multinational companies "multi-dimensional" have the production facilities in various countries that they cooperate both horizontally and vertically (for example: Microsoft).Others argue that the basic characteristics of the multinational company's parts not directly work with customers, English: back-office, (for example providing material, financial and human resources) in each country in which it operates. The multinational company has created a smaller version of itself in each company. The combined global enterprise that some say will be the next stage in the evolution of the multinational company, does not have this feature.
