Chỉ tiêu thời gian hoàn vốn cho thấy tính rủi ro của một dự án vì thời gian hoàn vốn càng dài thì rủi ro càng lớn. Nếu PP bé hơn hoặc bằng thời gian quy định cho dự án thì cán bộ tín dụng mới xem xét và ngược lại.
