5. Nghiên cứu về lực lượng TNXP các tỉnh Thanh Hoá, Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh từ 1954 – 1975 chúng tôi nhận thấy: Các cấp uỷ Đảng, chính quyền cần quan tâm hơn nữa về chính sách đối với cựu TNXP. Đây là vấn đề thể hiện đạo lí “Uống nước nhớ nguồn” và thể hiện tính nhân văn sâu sắc của dân tộc Việt Nam. Mặt khác, việc giải quyết thỏa đáng vấn đề trên còn có ý nghĩa chính trị hết sức to lớn, góp phần nâng cao niềm tin, tạo động lực cho thế hệ trẻ sẵn sàng cống hiến tài năng và sức lực của mình cho Tổ quốc, nhân dân.
