Nếu khuôn thử không đạt yêu cầu thì sẽ được kiểm tra lại ở bước gia công khuôn (sửa khuôn); sau đó, ép thử lại khuôn, nếu sản phẩm ép ra vẫn không đạt yêu cầu thì phải bỏ bộ khuôn đó và thực hiện lại từ đầu (thiết kế bao gồm thiết kế sản phẩm và thiết kế khuôn).
