Chính phủ yêu cầu tập trung xây dựng thương hiệu gạo Việt Nam. Đây là một trong những nội dung quan trọng tại Nghị quyết phiên họp Chính phủ thường kỳ vừa được Chính phủ ban hành.
Theo đó, tại Nghị quyết, Chính phủ giao Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển nông thôn tập trung chỉ đạo thúc đẩy phát triển sản xuất nông nghiệp, đáp ứng nhu cầu tiêu dùng trong nước dịp cuối năm, Tết Nguyên đán và phục vụ xuất khẩu. Tăng cường kiểm tra, thanh tra việc sử dụng chất cấm và kháng sinh trong chăn nuôi. Chủ trì, phối hợp với Bộ Công Thương mở đợt kiểm tra, xử lý thuốc bảo vệ thực vật, phân bón giả.
Bên cạnh đó, theo dõi sát tình hình thời tiết để chỉ đạo điều chỉnh thời gian gieo cấy, sản xuất của từng vùng hợp lý, chủ động tránh đợt cao điểm rét đậm, rét hại, hạn hán và xâm nhập mặn. Tập trung xây dựng thương hiệu gạo Việt Nam và bảo đảm ổn định thị trường gạo.
Nâng cao công tác bảo vệ và phát triển rừng, kiên quyết đóng cửa rừng tự nhiên, đặc biệt là quản lý chặt chẽ việc sử dụng diện tích đất trồng rừng ở Tây Nguyên. Rà soát, bổ sung Kế hoạch phát triển của ngành nông nghiệp và phát triển nông thôn giai đoạn 2016 - 2020 trên cơ sở Đề án tái cơ cấu nền kinh tế giai đoạn 2016 - 2020 được Quốc hội thông qua.
Cũng tại Nghị quyết này, Chính phủ cũng Bộ Giao thông vận tải chỉ đạo đẩy nhanh tiến độ triển khai các dự án, công trình giao thông trọng điểm và chuẩn bị các dự án mới; nghiên cứu, đề xuất cơ chế đặc thù về quản lý, thực hiện đầu tư các nút giao thông quan trọng trên địa bàn thành phố Hà Nội và thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, báo cáo Thủ tướng Chính phủ.
Đồng thời, tăng cường công tác bảo đảm trật tự an toàn giao thông và chuẩn bị phương án bảo đảm phương tiện vận tải phục vụ Nhân dân dịp Tết Dương lịch và Tết Nguyên đán. Chủ trì, phối hợp với Bộ Tài chính chỉ đạo tiếp tục giảm phí BOT tối thiểu ở 19 trạm thu phí trong năm 2016.
Cũng tại Nghị quyết này, Chính phủ yêu cầu Bộ Y tế chú trọng tăng cường công tác phòng chống dịch bệnh, nhất là những dịch bệnh theo mùa, có khả năng lây lan cao. Đẩy mạnh thực hiện đúng lộ trình bảo hiểm y tế toàn dân; tăng cường kiểm tra, giám sát, xử lý nghiêm tình trạng lạm dụng, trục lợi bảo hiểm y tế trong khám chữa bệnh. Nâng cao năng lực quản trị bệnh viện, đào tạo nhân lực theo hướng hội nhập.
Tích cực triển khai thực hiện Đề án tăng cường năng lực hệ thống quản lý chất lượng xét nghiệm y học giai đoạn 2016 - 2025, xây dựng hệ thống kiểm chuẩn, liên thông kết quả xét nghiệm trên toàn quốc ở những cơ sở y tế đủ điều kiện để giảm phiền hà, chi phí của người bệnh. Tăng cường chỉ đạo công tác bảo đảm an toàn thực phẩm, nhất là dịp Tết Nguyên đán....
