Priest Francisco de Pina was born in Guarda, Portugal, he entered the Jesuit in 1605. [1] He published Ocean and Decent in the year 1617 to through to the Association Macao reclining clergy who is Cristoforo Borri and Francesco Buzomi. During the 1611-17 he enrolled in the University of Saint Paul, Macau. He was also in contact with the cleric João Rodrigues, pioneering Japanese linguist, compose the Japanese grammar book transliterated to the Latin alphabet based on pronunciation of Portuguese, now called Romaji. This grammar book in about the year 1604-8. The composer Jacques Roland said that Francisco de Pina was according to allow this transliteration to Vietnamese records when he entered. [2]
