Để có được một đất nước Úc xinh đẹp như ngày hôm nay là nhờ sự cống hiến nỗ lực của những vị thống đốc. Trong đó nổi bật là Arthur và Macquarie. Cả hai người đều góp phần không nhỏ để phát triển đất nước. Nhưng về phong cách lãnh đạo, giữa 2 vị thống đốc có những điểm giống nhau và khác nhau. Trước hết về những điểm giống nhau. Họ đều là những người thông minh, sáng tạo và tỉ mỉ. A là vị thống đốc đầu tiên của NSW. Ông đã lập ra một kế hoạch rất kĩ lưỡng trước khi đặt chân tới đây.
