Việt Nam chia sẻ kinh nghiệm lấy công nghệ làm động lực phát triển

Phát biểu tại Hội nghị cấp cao của Đại hội đồng Liên hợp quốc về xã hội thông tin (gọi tắt là WSIS) diễn ra tại trụ sở Liên hợp quốc ở thành phố New York, Mỹ, Thứ trưởng Bộ Thông tin Truyền thông Nguyễn Minh Hồng đã chia sẻ những kinh nghiệm của Việt Nam trong việc lấy ICT làm động lực để phát triển.
Theo Thứ trưởng, phát triển công nghệ thông tin là một trong những quốc sách hàng đầu trong chiến lược phát triển kinh tế, là một trong những nhân tố then chốt để xóa đói giảm nghèo. Các cơ sở hạ tầng viễn thông của Việt Nam đã được đầu tư để đáp ứng tốc độ tăng trưởng kinh tế và nhu cầu của người dân.
Thứ trưởng cho biết Việt Nam đang trong giai đoạn thúc đẩy tin học hóa và tạo lập công nghệ phần mềm, thông qua tập trung chiến lược phát triển nguồn nhân lực. Thứ trưởng đưa ra cam kết rằng Việt Nam sẽ tích cực tham gia trong việc tổ chức triển khai các sáng kiến hợp tác mới, đặc biệt là việc thực hiện Chương trình 2030 về phát triển bền vững của Liên hợp quốc. Việt Nam tin tưởng rằng tiếp sau Hội nghị của Đại hội đồng Liên hợp quốc, với nỗ lực của tất cả các quốc gia, một xã hội thông tin toàn cầu sẽ ngày càng hoàn thiện và mang lại lợi ích cho mọi người dân trên thế giới.
