Đồng chủ trì Hội thảo với ông Đinh Quang Cường còn có ông Eric Markres, Giám đốc Quản lý dự án, WRI và bà Lauren Sorkin, Giám đốc vùng Châu Á - Thái Bình dương, Chương trình 100RC. Chia sẻ tại Hội thảo ông cho biết đây là cơ hội cho thành phố Đà Nẵng, khi WRI sẽ hỗ trợ cho thành phố (1) Lập chính sách tiết kiệm năng lượng trong tòa nhà; (2) Lập và triển khai dự án trình diễn; và (3) Xây dựng phương pháp giám sát tiến độ thực hiện chính sách và dự án nêu trên. Bên cạnh nguồn tài chính, nguồn hỗ trợ kỹ thuật từ phía chuyên gia quốc tế, từ các đối tác của WRI và 100RC là cơ hội khác cho thành phố Đà Nẵng nói chung và Văn phòng Biến đổi khí hậu nói riêng để tăng cường năng lực quản lý, năng lực cán bộ.
