Chiều ngày 24/4/2016, Công ty cổ phần Fococev Tây Nguyên đã tổ chức lễ khởi công xây dựng nhà máy chế biến tinh bột sắn tại thôn 11 xã Đăk Ruồng huyện Kon Rẫy. Tham dự lễ khởi công có các đồng chí lãnh đạo Huyện ủy- UBND huyện và Chủ tịch Hồi đồng quản trị công ty, lãnh đạo các công ty và nhà máy trực thuộc hệ thống Fococev.
Nhà máy chế biến tinh bột sắn do Công ty cổ phần Fococev Tây Nguyên làm chủ đầu tư được UBND tỉnh Kon Tum phê duyệt theo Quyết định số 248, ngày 18/3/2016, với tổng diện tích 34,8 ha tại thôn 11 xã Đăk Ruồng. Nhà máy có công suất thiết kế 40.000 tấn thành phẩm/năm, tổng vốn đầu tư hơn 167 tỷ đồng được thiết kế gồm nhiều hạng mục công trình như nhà làm việc, nhà khách, nhà ở cho cán bộ công nhân viên, khu nhà xưởng và khu xử lý nước thải. Thời hạn hoạt động 50 năm kể từ ngày được phê duyệt chủ trương đầu tư.
Ông Trịnh Văn Xuân- Tổng giám đốc Công ty cổ phận Fococev Tây Nguyên. Cho biết thêm “Công trình được thiết kế và xây dựng dây truyền kép kín, từ đầu vào nhà máy đến khâu cuối cùng là tinh bột được đóng bao thành phẩm. Bên cạnh đó hệ thống xử lý môi trường thực hiện công nghệ mới nhất. Chúng tôi sẽ quyết tân thực hiện giám sát môi trường bằng thiết bị tiên tiến,hiện đại nhất để đảm bảo khi thải nước ra môi trường đạt chuẩn loại A so với tiêu chuẩn loại Quốc gia”
Ông Huỳnh Minh Chương- Phó Bí thư- Chủ tịch UBND huyện vui mừng chia sẻ “Việc xây dựng nhà máy này công suất 200 tấn/ngày sẽ góp góp phần làm tăng nguồn thu ngân sách của huyện, giải quyết công ăn việc làm cho 200 lao động kể cả lao động phổ thông và lao động kỹ thuật cao, từ đó góp phần chuyển đổi cơ cấu kinh tế và phát triển xã hội của huyện nhà”.
Khi dự án đi vào hoạt động tăng thêm thu nhập cho người trồng sắn trên địa bàn các xã thị trấn của huyện và các địa bàn lân cận huyện Kon Rẫy nhằm thúc đẩy phát triển kinh tế - xã hội huyện Kon Rẫy giai đoạn 2016-2020 và phát triển tiểu thủ công nghiệp gắn với tiêu thụ nông sản cho bà con nông dân; góp phần thúc đẩy giảm nghèo, ổn định đời sống đồng bào địa phương, tăng thu ngân sách Nhà nước tại địa bàn./.
