View this email in a browser January 29, 2016Dear Tho Vinh,Whether you celebrate the western or eastern New Year, we hope you have a happy and prosperous year ahead of you. Here is the January 2016 edition of our quarterly investor newsletter.West Lake Water Project Update:West Lake construction remains on schedule and on budget. The lake itself is nearly 100% completed, and already beginning to fill naturally with water. Installation is ongoing of “rip rap,” large boulders along the top 10 feet of the perimeter to prevent wave erosion. The intake pipe has been constructed. This pipe will feed water from the stream to the pump house, where it will be pumped to the lake. The next steps are the construction of the pump houses and intake, and the installation of miles of pipeline. We are very excited the project remains on time and on budget. We are working from plans that have been in development with the State of Vermont for over a decade. When completed, West Lake will not only increase our snowmaking capability at Mount Snow, but also improve the water quality of several streams. The West Lake project is a win-win for Mount Snow and the environment.

I-526 Update:
We are still awaiting word on our first I-526 approval, but that is not unusual. As of November 30, 2015, the USCIS average I-526 processing time jumped to 15.5 months (and the first petition usually takes significantly longer). We think it is likely the processing time will continue to grow as investors have rushed into EB-5 over the last few months. As of September 30, 2015, USCIS stated that 17,356 I-526 petitions were pending review, up from 13,129 as of June 30, 2015. That backlog only increased through mid-December, as more petitions were submitted prior to the December 11, 2015, program deadline, although that deadline has subsequently been extended to September 30, 2016.
In December, Mount Snow submitted additional information to USCIS in response to routine questions they had about our offering and they have confirmed receipt of our response. While we, along with you, patiently wait for initial Exemplar and investor I-526 approvals, all funds are being held in escrow and the project is continuing to create jobs. We will let you know as soon as approval is received.
West Lake Project Improves Snowmaking at Mount Snow This Season:
Although the West Lake Water Project is not yet complete, it has already contributed positively to Mount Snow. A portion of this past summer’s work was a redesign of the on-mountain snowmaking system. Larger pipes were installed for the pipelines that carry water to the snow machines. That improvement increased our ability to make snow by 30%, meaning we can make more snow in a shorter amount of time than before. These improvements were especially important this winter, with snowfall arriving later than usual and still remaining at below average levels. Thanks to the pipeline improvement, we have been able to make snow more efficiently and quicker than in the past, so skiers can be assured of good conditions when they come on their holidays. When the West Lake Project is fully completed, the difference will be even more dramatic.

Mount Snow’s Carinthia Terrain Park ranks #1 in the East, and in the top ten in North America, for the 2015-16 season by Freeskier Magazine. Carinthia offers the largest infrastructure of freestyle terrain in the East, and this spring will host several competitive events for athletes from across the United States. It is also the site of the new Carinthia Ski Lodge, which will begin construction in 2016 (more on that in the next newsletter).
