Bẻ lá cọ, Okera và giờ là Mydirian. Ba ban nhạc với rất nhiều điểm tương đồng. Cùng đến từ Melbourn, Australia, cùng bắt đầu là những ban nhạc độc lập, không có label, cùng gây bất ngờ với những album tự mình làm lấy tất cả đầy xuất sắc. Và bây giờ họ cùng nhau biến Australia thành mảnh đất đầy hứa hẹn của melodic death. Còn một điểm giống nhau quan trọng nhất. Đó là họ cùng mang trong mình ảnh hưởng của vùng đất Scandinavia. Bẻ lá cọ là môn đồ của Gothenburg sound, Okera là bản sao của Opeth. Còn Myridian? Họ là kết quả của một đêm ân ái mặn nồng giữa Insomnium và Swallow The Sun.

Điểm thứ 2 đó là acoustic guitar. Nếu như ai nghe Bẻ lá cọ và Okera thì chắc đều thừa nhận mấy tay Chuột túi chịu khá nặng ảnh hưởng của Opeth trong lối chơi acoustic. Những âm thanh lỏng lẽo, lãng đãng, chơi mà như không chơi. Tiếng guitar sắc lạnh, xơ xác nhưng phảng phất sự ám ảnh, mơ hồ.
Như đã nói ở trên, Insomnium là một trong những cái tên đặt ảnh hưởng lớn lên Myridian. Cái màu xanh bàng bạc, vừa lạnh lẽo vừa cô đơn đặc trưng. Tiếng guitar uyển chuyển, giàu cảm xúc lặp đi lặp lại từ chậm rãi, lần lượt đẩy nhanh dần lên rồi bùng nổ ở những đoạn điệp khúc đầy sáng khoái với giai điệu trào ra như thác lũ cùng vocalist gào lên với tất cả sự giận dữ, đau đớn.
