Xin ngài cho biết kế hoạch hiện nay của chính phủ để xử lý vấn đề nợ xấu của các ngân hàng? Chính phủ có kế hoạch tư nhân hóa các ngân hàng thương mại do nhà nước sở hữu không?
Trong hai năm qua, Việt Nam đã và đang quyết liệt triển khai Đề án cơ cấu lại hệ thống các tổ chức tín dụng và Đề án xử lý nợ xấu. Qua đó, chúng tôi đã kiểm soát được tình hình của các ngân hàng thương mại cổ phần yếu kém, đảm bảo an toàn và thanh khoản của cả hệ thống các tổ chức tín dụng, tăng cường công tác quản trị, điều hành của các ngân hàng thương mại nói chung, đặc biệt là quản trị rủi ro hệ thống treo các chuẩn mực và thông lệ quốc tế… Theo kinh nghiệm quốc tế, chúng tôi đã thành lập Công ty quản lý tài sản của các tổ chức tín dụng Việt Nam từ tháng 7/2013. Tính đến cuối thàng 3/2014, VAMC đã bước đầu thành công trong việc mua vào khoảng 43 nghìn tỷ đồng nợ xấu, và dự kiến sẽ mua vào khoảng 70.000-100.000 tỷ đồng nợ xấu của hệ thống TCTD bằng trái phiếu đặc biệt trong năm 2014.

As international experience, we have established asset management company of the credit institution Vietnam Men from March 7/2013. As of late May 3/2014, VAMC was initially successful in acquiring approximately 43 trillion of bad debts, and expects to buy about 70000-100000 billion bad debt credit system with special bonds in 2014.
