Trang bị cho người học biết vận dụng các phương pháp thống kê căn bản trong thu thập và phân tích dữ liệu, làm cơ sở cho việc ra quyết định trong quản lý. Bao gồm các phương pháp thu thập và trình bày dữ liệu, mô tả dữ liệu định tính và định lượng ,các phương pháp thống kê suy diễn như ước lượng khoảng tin cậy, kiểm định giả thiết thống kê, phân tích số liệu theo chuỗi thời gian,….
