Ngày 20/9/2011, các nhà lãnh đạo Việt Nam đã gặp gỡ

với đại diện của Quỹ Tiền tệ Quốc tế (IMF). Theo đó, IMF sẽ tiếp
tục hỗ trợ Việt Nam đạt được các mục tiêu kinh tế xã hội đã đề
ra.Việt Nam hy vọng IMF sẽ tiếp tục hợp tác chặt chẽ với các bộ,
các ngành nhằm xây dựng được các chính sách hiệu quả, qua đó
giúp Việt Nam cải tiến mô hình tăng trưởng và cơ cấu lại nền kinh
tế. Việt Nam đánh giá cao sự giúp đỡ của IMF đối với Việt Nam
và hy vọng trong thời gian tới IMF, sẽ tiếp tục thúc đẩy mối quan
hệ sẵn có . Về phần mình, đại diện IMF cũng phát biểu
rằng, sự hỗ trợ của chính phủ Việt Nam đóng vai trò quan trọng
trong các đánh giá và tư vấn tài chính của IMF cho Việt Nam trong
thời gian qua…..
