3.4.Biện pháp 4:Đây là biện pháp quan trọng nhất của đề tài này dựa theo câu thành ngữ “Practice makes perfect”. Trước mỗi giờ học tôi chuẩn bị trước 2 câu hỏi trắc nghiệm về trọng âm với yêu cầu “ Choose the word whose stress is differently placed from the other words”.Các từ được chọn trong 2 câu hỏi này là những từ sẽ được sử dụng trong giờ học đó. Hai câu hỏi này có thể viết trước ở bảng phụ, hoặc soạn trên bài giảng điện tử để trình chiếu trên máy chiếu. Cuối mỗi giờ học, tôi dành từ 30 giây đến 1 phút để học sinh trả lời hai câu hỏi đó và phát âm những từ ở trong hai câu hỏi đó. Học sinh nào có đáp án đúng và phát âm chính xác trọng âm của các từ đó sẽ nhận được một phiếu điểm thưởng. Phiếu này dùng để cộng điểm cho học sinh vào các bài kiểm tra 15 phúthoặc kiểm tra miệng theotỉ lệ
