- Về tình hình đầu tư và vận hành nhà máy lọc dầu

BSR được xây dựng và bắt đầu vận hành từ năm 2009, trước thời điểm Quyết định 49/2011/QĐ-TTg có hiệu lực thi hành. BSR đang thực hiện kế hoạch nâng cấp mở rộng nhà máy để sản phẩm đáp ứng Quyết định 49/2011/QD-TTg. Dự án nâng cấp mở rộng nhà máy đã được thủ tướng chính phủ chấp thuận (kết luận của Thủ tướng chính phủ tại cuộc họp thường trực Chính phủ ngày 16/12/2014). Sau khi hoàn thành dự án (cuối năm 2021) sản phẩm xăng dầu của nhà máy sẽ đáp ứng được tiêu chuẩn chất lượng theo tiêu chuẩn mức 5 quy định tại QCVN 1:2015
