“Cột cờ Hà Nội” nằm trên đường Điện Biên Phủ, thuộc quận Ba Đình, Hà Nội, được xây dựng năm 1812, dưới thời Vua Gia Long triều Nguyễn trên phần đất phía nam của Hoàng thành Thăng Long.

“Cột cờ Hà Nội” là một trong số ít những công trình kiến trúc thuộc khu vực thành Hà Nội có may mắn thoát khỏi sự phá hủy do chính quyền đô hộ Pháp tiến hành trong ba năm 1894-1897.
