Nghiên cứu sự biến động thành phần loài và mật độ cá thể loài Tảo Mắt được tiến hành tại Tỉnh Trà Vinh từ tháng 10/2014 đến tháng 3/2015 tại 17 địa điểm thuộc các thủy vực như một số ao tự nhiên, ao thủy sản, ruộng lúa, kênh cấp thoát nước ruộng lúa, cửa sông vào mùa mưa và mùa nắng.
