In 1872, Milton Hershey teenager was admitted apprentice at a candy factory near Lancaster. To 1876, Hershey has the skills to step into the road itself candy business. His relatives to borrow money and then moved to Philadelphia to start making hard candy and caramel. He sold candy on the trolley for 6 years, but finally, the disagreement between him and his father did not make the business profitable. Milton then went to Denver, New Orleans, and Chicago to look for opportunities, before settling in New York City and started a confectionery business opened Monday after being educated in Huyler's in 1883. Public the business also lasted only three years and ended in 1886.
