Có lời đồn rằng nhà văn Erne Christie đã viết tác phẩm “Án mạng trên tàu tốc hành” trong căn phòng số 411 của khách sạn. Căn phòng này hiện nay được biết đến với cái tên phòng Agatha Christie. Khách sạn Pera Palace Jumeirah nằm ở trung tâm quận Beyoglu, thành phố Istanbul.
