Sôi động chương trình Sinh viên với biển đảo Tổ quốc
Từ ngày 15 đến 18/5, 900 sinh viên tiêu biểu đại diện cho 2 triệu sinh viên cả nước sẽ tham gia chương trình “Sinh viên với biển đảo Tổ quốc” diễn ra tại huyện đảo Phú Quốc và xã đảo Thổ Châu, tỉnh Kiên Giang. Chương trình do Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam tổ chức với nhiều hoạt động ý nghĩa.

Cụ thể, các sinh viên sẽ được hiểu thêm về lịch sử dân tộc qua việc thăm quan nhà tù Phú Quốc, xem phim về Điện Biên Phủ; được trang bị thêm các kiến thức về chủ quyền biển đảo. Trong những ngày diễn ra hoạt động, sinh viên sẽ tham gia các hoạt động tình nguyện ý nghĩa.
Chương trình sẽ kết thúc với đêm nhạc Tự hào biển đảo Việt Nam giao lưu giữa sinh viên và chiến sĩ, nhân dân trên đảo. Chương trình còn có sự tham gia biểu diễn của ca sĩ khách mời như ca sĩ Mỹ Tâm, ca sĩ Hà Anh Tuấn, ca sĩ Quang Hào, ca sĩ Thụy Miên.

Cũng trong dịp này, Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam sẽ khởi công xây dựng cột cờ Tổ quốc trên đảo Thổ Chu nhằm khẳng định tinh thần yêu nước, khơi dậy ý thức trách nhiệm của sinh viên trong việc bảo vệ, giữ gìn chủ quyền biển đảo Tổ quốc
