Nhân dịp kỷ niệm 85 năm ngày thành lập Công đoàn Việt Nam (28/7/1929 - 28/7/2014), ngày 24 tháng 7 năm 2014, Ban Thường vụ liên đoàn lao động huyện Đại Từ tổ chức hội nghị biểu dương cán bộ công đoàn cơ sở tiêu biểu giai đoạn 2008 - 2013, kỷ niệm 85 năm ngày thành lập Công đoàn Việt Nam. Tới dự và chỉ đạo hội nghị có đồng chí Ngô Việt Hà - Phó Chủ tịch liên đoàn lao động tỉnh Thái Nguyên, dự hội nghị có đồng chí Ngô Ngọc Sơn - Uỷ viên Ban Thường vụ, Trưởng Ban Tuyên giáo Huyện uỷ, đồng chí Nguyễn Mạnh Hoạt - Huyện uỷ viên, Phó Chủ tịch ủy ban nhân dân huyện, lãnh đạo các cơ quan, phòng, ban của huyện, các đồng chí Nguyên Chủ tịch liên đoàn lao động huyện qua các thời kỳ, cán bộ công đoàn các cấp trên địa bàn huyện.
