Ngày 22-10, UBND tỉnh Vĩnh Phúc đã tổ chức trao Giấy chứng nhận đầu tư cho Tập đoàn

Sumitomo (Nhật Bản) để xây dựng Khu công nghiệp Thăng Long Vĩnh Phúc.

Tập đoàn Sumitomo là doanh nghiệp lớn, đa ngành của Nhật Bản đang thực hiện nhiều dự án lớn tại

Việt Nam trên nhiều lĩnh vực như ngân hàng, xây dựng, bất động sản, máy móc, thiết bị nâng hạ, thủy

điện, nhiệt điện, nông nghiệp, công nghệ... Hiện, Tập đoàn Sumiomo đã đầu tư thành công tại hai KCN

Bắc Thăng Long (Hà Nội) và Thăng Long II (Hưng Yên).

Khu công nghiệp Thăng Long Vĩnh Phúc khi được đầu tư sẽ là khu công nghiệp thứ 10 được thành lập,

trong tổng số 19 khu công nghiệp của tỉnh được Thủ tướng Chính phủ phê duyệt danh mục ưu tiên phát

triển đến năm 2020. Đây là dự án đầu tư nước ngoài thứ 202 vào tỉnh, nâng tổng số vốn đăng ký lên

3,25 tỷ USD. Đây cũng là dự án thứ 26 do các nhà đầu tư Nhật Bản đầu tư vào Vĩnh Phúc, đưa tổng số

vốn đăng ký đầu tư từ các doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản lên gần 800 triệu USD.

Khu công nghiệp Thăng Long Vĩnh Phúc được xây dựng tại hai xã Thiện Kế và Tam Hợp, huyện Bình

Xuyên, với quy mô 213 ha, được chia làm hai giai đoạn, giai đoạn một là 94,5 ha và giai đoạn hai là

118,5 ha. Tổng vốn đầu tư giai đoạn một của dự án là 1.530 tỷ đồng.

Các ngành nghề, lĩnh vực thu hút đầu tư vào KCN Thăng Long, Vĩnh Phúc là ngành công nghiệp

không gây ô nhiễm môi trường, ưu tiên các dự án có công nghệ kỹ thuật cao, tập trung chủ yếu vào các

ngành, lĩnh vực sau: Sản xuất các loại động cơ; công nghiệp phụ trợ; sản xuất phụ tùng ô-tô, xe máy;

Nghiên cứu và phát triển (R&D); Sản xuất phụ kiện điện tử, sản phẩm bán dẫn; các sản phẩm công

nghệ cao; Sản xuất máy tính và phần mềm, phần cứng; Sản xuất dược phẩm; các sản phẩm cơ khí chính

xác; máy móc; Sản xuất các sản phẩm thuộc công nghệ sinh học, điện gia dụng; các thiết bị giao thông

vận tải v.v…

Dự kiến khi hoàn thành, sẽ thu hút được 79 dự án đầu tư vào KCN, tạo ra khoảng 25.000 việc làm mới;

thu nộp ngân sách hằng năm khoảng 5.000 tỷ đồng.
