Leo núi Bài Thơ là một thú vui hấp dẫn. Ngôi đền toạ lạc tại chân núi Bài Thơ thuộc khu vực Bến Đoan - Hòn Gai, thành phố Hạ Long. Đền được xây dựng trên một nền đất cao, lưng tựa vào vách núi, mặt hướng ra vịnh.
Đền thờ Đức Ông Trần Quốc Nghiễn, (Đền Đức Ông ) con thứ của Trần Hưng Đạo và là vị tướng tài ba dũng mãnh trong cuộc kháng chiến chống quân Nguyên. Ông còn là một người con tận hiếu, là người tôi tận trung. Để tưởng nhớ công lao to lớn của ông, một ngôi đền thờ do các chủ thuyền thường hay qua lại dựng tại chân núi Bài Thơ.
Đền có từ rất lâu đời gồm có ba gian bái đường, một hậu cung. Đền thờ Mẫu nằm ở bên phải đền chính. Ban chính thờ Trần Quốc Nghiễn, ban bên phải thờ Đệ Nhất Vương Cô, ban trái thờ Đệ Nhị Vương Cô. Trong đền có đầy đủ nghi trượng, bát bửu, các đồ tế khí. Đền đã qua rất nhiều lần trùng tu.
Đền Đức Ông là một di tích đẹp và là một ngôi đền có tiếng linh thiêng. Du khách có dịp tham quan vịnh Hạ Long thường tới thăm ngôi đền.
Chùa Long Tiên
Dưới chân núi Bài Thơ là chùa Long Tiên ở phía bắc – ngôi chùa lớn nhất và đẹp nhất của thành phố Hạ Long
Chùa Long Tiên được xây dựng vào năm 1941, là ngôi chùa lớn nhất và là một di tích lịch sử danh thắng nổi tiếng ở thành phố Hạ Long. Chùa toạ lạc dưới chân núi Bài Thơ, gần chợ Hạ Long, tại phố cũng mang tên "Phố Long Tiên”.
Chùa có phong cách kiến trúc độc đáo hiếm thấy, mang phong cách kiến trúc và điêu khắc của các ngôi chùa thời nhà Nguyễn, kiểu chồng giường giá chiêng và những hoạ tiết hoa văn trang trí rồng phượng, hoa lá cách điệu. Trên đỉnh tam quan là tượng phật Adiđà với tư thế ngồi, dưới là gác chuông, nổi bật ba chữ “Long Tiên Tự”. Hai bên là hai câu đối. Chính điện thờ Phật, bên phải thờ các tướng lĩnh nhà Trần, bên trái là cung Tam Phủ Thánh Mẫu.Chùa nằmở trung tâm thành phố nên rất thuận tiện cho khách đến viếng thăm. Trước kia, chùa Long Tiên mở hội chính vào ngày 24/3 (âm lịch). Còn hiện nay ngày nào cũng là hội.
