Công ước luật biển quốc tế của Liên

Công ước luật biển quốc tế của Liên hiệp quốc được thông qua tại Hội nghị luật biển lần III Liên hiê quốc vào ngày 30/4/1982, và chính thức có hiệu lực ngày 16/11/1994. Nội dung chủ yếu: xác định độ rộng lãnh hải mỗi quốc gia không quá 12 hải lí kể từ vạch ranh giới; mỗi quốc gia có quyền ngoài lãnh hải có đặc khu kinh tế không quá 200 hải lí kể từ vạch ranh giới; thềm lục địa duyên hải, ngoài lãnh hải dựa vào sự mở rộng tự nhiên toàn bộ lãnh thổ lục địa quốc gia cho đến vòng ngoài lục địa, xa nhất có thể kéo dài tới 350 hải lí, nếu quốc gia nào không tới 200 hải lí, thì rộng đến 200 hải lí….
