Đợt 1 (vào khoảng tháng 3, 4):
đây là thời điểm sau khi kết thúc năm tài chính, kếtquả của kiểm toán và kết quả hoạt động sản xuất kinh doanh của năm vừa rồi đượccông bố và thông báo phân chia lợi nhuận, cổ tức (sau khi đã được Đại hội đồng cổđông thông qua).
Đợt 2 (vào khoảng tháng 7, 8):
sau khi có kết quả nửa năm (2 quý đầu năm), công ty thường tạm ứng cổ tức cho các cổ đông dựa vào chỉ tiêu kế hoạch và kết quả thực tế đạt được trong nửa năm.
