So với châu Âu, văn hóa doanh nghiệp n­ước Mỹ có những điểm khác biệt. Mặc dù đa số người Mỹ là người Anh và ng­ười châu Âu di cư­, như­ng khi sang lục địa mới, họ đã nuôi dư­ỡng trong mình chí tiến thủ mạnh mẽ, tinh thần chú trọng thực tế cộng với tinh thần trách nhiệm nghiêm túc. Tất cả những điều đó đã tạo ra một bản sắc văn hóa mới - bản sắc văn hóa Mỹ. Ngư­ời Mỹ cho rằng, ai cũng có quyền đ­ược hưởng cuộc sống tự do, hạnh phúc bằng sức lao động chính đáng của họ. Bản sắc văn hóa làm cho ngư­ời ta học đư­ợc chữ tín trong khế ước và tất cả mọi ngư­ời đều bình đẳng về cơ hội phát triển: ai nhanh hơn, thức thời hơn, giỏi cạnh tranh hơn thì người đó giành được thắng lợi. Có thể nói, ý thức suy tôn tự do, chú trọng hiệu quả thực tế, phương hướng, khuyến khích phấn đấu cá nhân đã trở thành nhịp điệu chung của văn hóa doanh nghiệp nước Mỹ. Đó là những bài học kinh nghiệm quý báu cho Việt Nam trong quá trình tạo dựng văn hóa doanh nghiệp trong thời kỳ hội nhập.
